Well I sent the e-mail 4 days ago and the website is not up and I have not received a response! Any ideas on how long this process takes?

Hi Chris,
Custom domains are available only after 30 days of service. Please email us on 8/14 or later with the domain you want. Once you do, it takes up to a few days to purchase, setup and for the domain to propagate on the internet.
Thanks

So after paying to upgrade to get the custom domain I have to wait 30 days? What is the wait for? You took my money without waiting 30 days. I will need a good answer or my money back.
Thanks

Hi Chris,
I certainly understand your concern with our policy. The 30 day wait is noted on the sign up page:
http://www.familydetails.com/Family-Website-Plans.aspx
The reason for the policy is actually customer-centric; It allows us to give a full refund within 30 days of sign up. Once we have purchased and domain and spent the time settings it up, we have incurred cost that can't be undone if the user decides to cancel and request a refund. We try to be as fair as possible and we've found that this policy is the best compromise because it gives the customer a full refund option and doesn't over expose us as well. I hope that makes sense. Please let me know if you have further concerns.
Thanks!
