If you have upgraded to our platinum plan, you have the option of applying a custom domain to your family website. For example:

Instead of: http://www.familydetails.com/the-colbert-family

You could access your site like: http://the-colber-family.com

Your custom domain is available any time after you have been a platinum for at least 30 days. All you need to do is let us know what domain name you would like and we'll take care of the rest.

Once you have selected the domain you want, email it to us and also include the email address that you are using on our site. We will then purchase the domain at no additional cost to you (the cost is already included in your subscription) and set it up to point to your family website. This process may take up to several days.

Once it's all setup, you will be able to access your site directly from the domain name you choose (i.e.: www.the-colbert-family.com). You will still be able to access your site via the old url (i.e.: www.familydetails.com/the-colbert-family/).
